**Responsibilities of the role include**:
- Management of structure, plans, specifications, standards and implications for project accountabilities
- Utilise survey techniques and modern equipment when appropriate to ensure the tasks are completed in the most cost-effective way.
- Interpret project and technical documentation and monitor compliance with specifications
- Lead, manage and monitor multiple survey contractors at any one time.
- Liaise with engineers and supervisors to ensure there is sufficient survey support planned for and allocated.
- Manage survey contractors to ensure survey resources are utilised efficiently across the various projects.
- Monitoring progress and quality of the survey contractor's works.
- Provide instruction where required
- Provide support to engineers to forecast survey costs for each project.
- Provide input into the development phase of upcoming projects.
- Work with the project teams to ensure documentation is captured and submitted within the required time frames.
- Check and maintain all legal requirements relating to surveying on the project. Have knowledge and understanding of legislation, systems, procedures and technology associated with the project surveying
**Skills**:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Spatial Science or 10+ years surveying experience on a civil site
- Qualifications in Construction Management or Quality Assurance
- Road set-out and audit
- Must have Civil Works experience, ideally on TMR projects

**Salary**: $130,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
