You'll be joining a business that values strong leadership, operational excellence, and continuous development, where your contribution will be recognised and rewarded.**Key Responsibilities:*** Lead day-to-day plant operations across safety, production, logistics, customer service, and sales* Deliver high-quality customer service through effective management of plant and truck availability* Oversee fleet and logistics coordination, including contractors (LODs), suppliers, and transport performance* Plan and manage plant capacity, forward orders, and resource allocation to meet demand and avoid overbooking* Monitor and manage financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and resource optimisation* Ensure all procurement and purchasing activities comply with company policies, budgets, and approved supplier agreements* Maintain product quality standards in line with business and customer requirements* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through proactive engagement and service delivery* Ensure all quotations, contracts, billing, and credits are completed accurately and on time* Maintain fixed and mobile assets in line with required service intervals* Lead a proactive safety culture, ensuring full compliance with all safety policies and procedures* Provide strong leadership to develop, coach, and manage team performance* Maintain accurate operational and financial reporting in relevant systems**About You:*** Proven leadership experience in operations, manufacturing, logistics, or a similar environment* Strong commercial acumen, with exposure to P&L, budgeting, and cost control* A strong commitment to safety leadership and risk management* The ability to manage competing priorities and make effective decisions under pressure* Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build lasting relationships* A proactive and solutions-focused mindset with strong planning capability* A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and operational excellence**About Heidelberg Materials**Heidelberg Materials Australia is an equal opportunity employer, and we employ people from all walks of life.
