Donnelley Hire is a family-owned Earthmoving & Attachment hire business which has been operating in the Illawarra for over 60 years. We are a small team which work closely together to provide a superior level of service to our customers no matter how big or small.
We are actively seeking an experienced and results driven Business Development Manager – South Coast who knows how to seek out and build customer relationships with large and smaller customers alike. The role is based in our Nowra branch and would service the Far South Coast, regional Nowra and the Southern Highlands region.
You will need to be comfortable with:
* Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for the dry and wet hire of earthmoving equipment and attachments
* Maintaining and developing existing customer relationships for customers of all sizes and requirements
* Comfortable with delivering value-based proposals in a competitive and price sensitive market
* Completion of tender documents as required
* Working with a CRM system
* Regular travel to the Far South Coast (including overnight stays)
What We're Looking For:
* Proven sales success in the equipment hire industry. Preferably, but not necessarily earthmoving equipment.
* 5+ years of experience in B2B sales with some of that time spent in business development roles. We are seeking more than just a sales representative.
* Excellent negotiation skills with a demonstrable track record of winning deals and increasing share of customer wallet.
* Someone who is focused on customer service
* A proactive and professional approach with the ability to work independently
* Someone who is target driven and thrives on accountability
