Job Overview
Our Mental Health Clinical Care Coordinator role is an exciting opportunity to join our multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality, evidence-based clinical care to adults aged 18 years and over who experience mental health concerns and their families and carers.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality evidence-based clinical care as a member of the multidisciplinary team to achieve better health outcomes for clients.
* Conduct intake and assessments, including risk assessments, care treatment planning, care coordination with internal and external services, and provide brief psychological intervention.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Must have one of the following: Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse, General or Provisional AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, OR AASW registration/eligibility as a Social Worker (would suit graduate Social Worker wanting to build skills in the mental health field).
* Knowledge and understanding of the theory underpinning evidence-based interventions and clinical practice, and demonstrated excellence in their practical application in mental health and alcohol and drug use.
* Highly developed communication (including written) and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to engage with people, advocate on their behalf and establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, clients, families, friends and stakeholders.
