Avenue Dental Kawana has proudly served the local community for over 14 years with exceptional dental care while providing an environment of job security and satisfaction for our team. We have enjoyed continual growth over the years, which has led us to expand our team further with another dental assistant.
This exciting assisting role will involve supporting and working alongside a team of eight dental assistants, four dentists and three hygienists, whilst completing the following duties;
Being part of a team that promotes teamwork, open communication, cooperation, respect and understanding.
Adhere to and enforce all practice protocols and systems to ensure the smooth running of the back of house.
Work under the direction of the Practice Manager & Clinical Back of House Trainer to ensure overall practice cohesiveness, delivering the highest level of patient quality care, efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsible for working within the sterilization and lab room throughout the day.
Perform full-time chair-side duties as a dental assistant.
Delivering exceptional patient care every day.
Always going above and beyond the job role to increase patients expectations of our service.

Your hours are spread over four days throughout the week. Practice hours are Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 5:15pm (1 hour lunch). Tuesday & Thursday hours are 8am – 7:15pm (1 hour lunch + 1-hour staff meeting).
Rosters are issued 1 month in advance that will state which day the RDO will be for each week.
Hourly rate will be negotiated based on experience under the Health Professional and Support Service Award.
