What You’ll Be Doing
The Project Lead is responsible for the planning and coordination of the end‑to‑end delivery of a new online travel and conference leave management system across the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network (SCHN), ensuring it is implemented on time, within scope, and in alignment with operational and industrial requirements. This role will coordinate cross‑functional input, manage vendor relationships, and lead change‑management activities to support successful implementation while maintaining business‑as‑usual operations.
This position reports to the Director People and Culture and exercises a high level of autonomy working closely with the Project Steering Committee to ensure the achievement of key milestones. The role will provide advice and leadership to stakeholders and end users and be accountable for the development and successful implementation of the project plan and timeline, with a focus on:
- Clearly conveying goals, expectations, and updates to stakeholders
- Resolving conflicts and fostering collaboration
- Anticipating challenges and planning for contingencies
- Keeping documentation up to date and accessible
- Managing scope creep and shifting priorities
- Identifying potential risks early and building strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams
About You
- Has solid project management experience and/or relevant qualifications
- Has proven experience meeting critical deadlines
- Communicates exceptionally well
