Landscaping and Irrigation Service Officer
Salary: $68,972.28 per annum (plus industry allowance). Closing date: Friday 5 June 2026. Full time – Permanent.
Overview
The Parks, Sport and Recreation Department of Greater Shepparton City Council seeks a skilled and motivated landscaping and irrigation specialist to join our dedicated team. This role involves planning and prioritising work, operating mini diggers, and carrying out infrastructure installation and repair to maintain and enhance outdoor spaces.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and prioritise landscaping and irrigation work.
* Operate mini diggers and other equipment.
* Install and repair irrigation and landscaping infrastructure.
* Maintain and enhance outdoor spaces, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.
Qualifications & Experience
* Demonstrated experience in planning and prioritising work.
* Experience operating mini diggers.
* Experience in installing and repairing infrastructure.
* Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and well‐developed problem‐solving skills.
Employment Conditions
This position is subject to a 6‐month qualifying period in accordance with Fair Work Australia minimum employment period. During the qualifying period employees receive appropriate induction, support, assistance, resources and training to meet required performance standards.
