VAN RUTH manufacture high quality specialised drill and bore hole plugs and packers facilitating ground stability and water control for use in underground and surface mining operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operating manual machines. Mainly Lathes, Drills, Mills and Linishing
* Product assembly and process work.
* Ability to interpret basic 2D technical drawings accurately.
* Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
* Monitor and maintain tolerance and quality standards throughout the machining process.
* Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work area.
* Be able to work both unsupervised and as part of a small team.
* Be able to adapt to other jobs as needed.
* Warehousing and packaging.
* General duties in the working environment to keep it safe and clean.
Requirements:
Strong emphasis on focus, craftsmanship and pride in your work.
Previous experience in a metalworking factory.
Maintaining a healthy lifestyle both at home and in the workplace.
Physically fit and present as neat and tidy.
Able to do manual handling and lifting of equipment and products in a safe manner.
Hold a current Western Australian driver's licence.
Great attitude towards work and colleges and be of a friendly nature
Basic computer skills.
Be able to pass Police clearance
