About the Role
As the Head of Department – Arts, your responsibilities will include:
* Lead the school department in developing and committing to a shared educational vision focused on achieving high‐quality learning outcomes for all students.
* Promote socially just practices and uphold high standards for both student achievement and staff performance.
* Build and maintain strong partnerships with students, parents, government agencies, and community groups to support learning and wellbeing.
* Demonstrate strategic, future‐focused leadership, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and policies affecting students and staff.
* Effectively manage human, financial, facility, and curriculum resources while engaging in ongoing professional learning to achieve departmental goals.
