Wellington Shire Council is looking for an organised and enthusiastic person to join our Natural Environment and Parks team as a full-time Parks Administrative Support Officer.
Based at our Sale Depot, this permanent role provides important administrative support to help our team run smoothly each day. You will also assist in ensuring we meet all health and safety (Occupational Health and Safety) requirements.
**What you will do in this role**:
- Maintain our records system to ensure it is always up to date and compliant.
- Assist with managing Occupational Health and Safety checks and audits.
- Act as the first point of contact for public enquiries and follow up on customer requests.
- Build and maintain good relationships with customers, suppliers and contractors.
**What we are looking for**:
- Someone with solid administrative experience who can work independently and with great attention to detail.
- A good understanding of Occupational Health and Safety requirements and the ability to help the team address any issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Confident using Microsoft Office. Experience with Occupational Health and Safety or records management systems would be an advantage.
