We are seeking an experienced and meticulous Senior Payroll Officer to join our client on a 6‑month, part‑time contract (0.6 FTE), starting ASAP. What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
* Process payrolls accurately and on time for all employees.
* Ensure strict compliance with the Fair Work Act and relevant industrial instruments.
* Liase with the ATO regarding PAYG withholding and other statutory requirements.
* Assist with end‑of‑year payroll processes, including payment summaries and reconciliations.
* Maintain accurate payroll records and confidential employee data with the utmost discretion.
What You'll Bring (Essential Skills & Experience)
* Proven, hands‑on experience with Micropay is absolutely essential.
* Relevant Certification in Payroll or equivalent, extensive experience.
* Strong, up‑to‑date knowledge of Australian payroll legislation (including award interpretation, superannuation, and taxation).
* A meticulous eye for detail and exceptional data accuracy skills.
