As a Psychologist within our Primary Health Services team,you will deliver high-quality psychological support and intervention, promotingmental health and wellbeing for detainees in our care.
You will take the lead in developing and implementing the Psychological SupportProgram Framework and ensuring care aligns with best-practice mental healthstandards.
This role is part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team,where your expertise will directly contribute to improving outcomes andpromoting holistic wellbeing.
Located in Northam.
Day to day!
Develop and implement the Psychological Support ProgramFramework, incorporating trauma-informed and culturally sensitive practices. Provide individual and group-based treatment. Collaborate with medical, allied health, and operationalteams to deliver integrated care. Contribute to policy and procedure development forpsychological support services. Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentationand reports.

Lets talk about you!
Holds a general registration in Psychology or endorsement inClinical or Forensic Psychology or with current AHPRA registration as aPsychologist, and bring at least five years of post-graduate experience,ideally within a diverse or multicultural environment. You have a strongunderstanding of trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeuticapproaches, along with excellent communication, assessment, and teamworkskills. Above all, you demonstrate a commitment to ethical, person-centredpractice and delivering high-quality care.
