We are currently recruiting a
FIFO
Electrical Supervisor
from Cairns for various site locations across QLD and NT.
Responsibilities:
Supervising a team up to 20 workers.
Co-ordinate with the management team to ensure all personnel are working safely.
Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing when required.
Collaborate with the Managing Director, Branch Managers and project teams to ensure alignment on budgets and timelines.
Experience:
Electrical Supervision background within the mining industry essential.
Demonstrated understanding of industrial electrical works.
Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings.
Effective planning ability, time management, and prioritisation.
Confident communication and ability to effectively liaise with other employees, clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors.
Computer literacy skills using MS packages including Excel & Projects.
Ability to supervise multi-disciplined workforce.
High attention to detail with a hands-on approach.
Requirements:
Valid QLD and NT Electrical Licence.
Manual drivers licence (without any restrictions)
G189 & G2 Supervision Certificate
Current Provide First Aid & CPR/LVR Certificate
High Risk Licence - WP
Confined Spaces Certificate (valid for 3 years)
Working at Heights Certificate (valid for 3 years)
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and random drug & alcohol testing
Ability to undergo a National Police Clearance
