About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Category Manager to drive commercial performance across our Skin, Laser and Body categories. This role is ideal for a commercially minded professional who thrives at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and operational execution.

Reporting to the Head of Category, you will play a critical role in strengthening pricing strategy, optimising promotions, delivering deep‑drive reporting, and supporting new product development across the network. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams including Finance, Marketing, IT, Operations, Education, and Procurement to ensure our categories remain competitive, efficient, and growth‑focused.

This role offers the opportunity to influence outcomes at scale, contribute to strategic decision‑making, and deliver measurable commercial impact. Your key responsibilities include:

Commercial Performance & Reporting

- Monitor daily sales performance across Skin, Laser and Body categories, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
- Translate category objectives into targeted marketing initiatives and commercial campaigns.
- Prepare weekly trade reports, SKU and state‑level performance analysis, and post‑promotion reviews.
- Plan and monitor Capex budgets and support data visualisation needs across category reporting.
- Provide quarterly insights, pricing strategies, and competitive benchmarking to senior stakeholders.

Pricing & Promotional Strategy

- Lead pricing rollouts across more than 150 clinics and support the implementation of promotional, pricing, and incentive changes.
- Evaluate market pricing to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Oversee price structures, COGs management, and compliance requirements across categories.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to enhance reporting and pricing workflows.

Recent Product Development

- Develop comprehensive business cases for new product and service launches.
- Provide insights and recommendations to franchise partners to support category growth.
- Collaborate with Education and Marketing teams to align training, pricing and service standards.

Performance & Strategy Support

- Deliver actionable insights to Business Development Managers and Operational Leaders to support category performance.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives including service modelling, market positioning, and category enhancements.
- Support performance management processes for low‑performing clinics and team members through data insights.

Operational & Supplier Management

- Oversee stock management, ordering, pricing accuracy and supplier interactions.
- Support device procurement and lifecycle management across the network.
- Ensure compliance with company values, policies, Code of Conduct, and all relevant legislative requirements.

Key Requirements

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in category management, commercial strategy, or multi‑site/franchise operations.
- Strong analytical skills in data‑driven reporting, pricing, and promotional strategy.
- Experience collaborating with Marketing, Finance, IT, and Education teams.
- Proven ability to manage suppliers, procurement, and large product or service portfolios.
- Comfortable engaging with C‑suite stakeholders and preparing Board‑level reporting.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related discipline (highly regarded).
