Team Leader Financial Planning and Analysis
The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team partners closely with the business to support sound, timely decision-making. The team provides practical financial advice, guidance and customer-focused support across the organisation.
Reporting to the Manager Financial Services, the Team Leader FP&A is one of four team leaders within the Financial Services function. Leading a team of five, this role is responsible for delivering robust financial planning and budget processes that support long-term financial sustainability, while enabling the business to achieve its operational targets and strategic priorities.
The role also ensures Finance Business Partnering services are delivered consistently and effectively across the organisation and is accountable for the leadership, performance and development of the FP&A team.
The role is also responsible for overseeing and coordinating the preparation of the organisation's annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, accounting standards, and statutory reporting requirements.

Key Selection Criteria
* Expert knowledge of financial planning and budgetary concepts, applications, principles and practice
* Demonstrated experience performing and presenting financial analyses and, where required, negotiating with stakeholders at all levels to achieve positive outcomes in line with business objectives
* Demonstrated experience at a senior level in financial modelling, budgeting and reporting
* Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply relevant financial legislation, regulations, and accounting standards.
* Highly developed project management skills which underpin the timely development of strategies, projects and programs and assist in cross functional collaboration.
* Demonstrated ability to provide strong leadership during periods of change.

A tertiary qualification in Finance, Business or relevant discipline is required.
