Branch Lending Specialist based in Werribee will serve as the first point of contact for local customers and support their retail banking and lending needs, helping every Australian own their own home.
Responsibilities
* Build an ever-growing business network, actively promote Great Southern Bank's products and services to deliver on our Purpose and increase target market share.
* Work as a team with Branch colleagues to serve existing customers, assisting with new lending and developing referral networks to introduce new lending customers.
* Manage and own home loans through to completion, grow pipeline and constantly scan for opportunities, helping Australians own their own home.
* Be viewed as a highly experienced and successful lender, senior team member, respected subject-matter expert.
* Promote the Great Southern Bank Brand and purpose to current and future customers through strategic networking and business development activities.
* Accountable for day-to-day service operations, including meeting service standards and performance targets.
* Maintain strong knowledge of Lending and ancillary products, adopting sales strategies aligned with the divisional business plan.
Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years' experience in mortgage lending/credit assessment.
* Demonstrated experience working with all banking products.
* Proven ability to network with key stakeholders and generate leads through networking.
* Self-motivated, driven, results-oriented with a proven ability to apply cross-selling techniques.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with strong customer and sales focus.
* Problem-solving ability for complex financial situations.
* Ability to work autonomously while maintaining strong team connections.
* Demonstrated exceptional stakeholder management.
Additional Skills
* Thorough knowledge of Financial Services Code and Acts (FSRA, Credit Union Code of Practice, Privacy Act).
* ASIC Tier 2 requirement or ability to rapidly acquire.
* Cert IV in Mortgage Brokering (desirable).
