Job Description
The Family Liaison and Administration Officer will be responsible for general administration and customer service tasks, including enrolment and orientation coordination for new families. The role involves providing warm, professional support to families and assisting the leadership team with daily operations. This permanent part‐time position is 20 hours per week, worked across 3–5 days, with flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the centre.
Responsibilities
* Accurate and proficient performance of a wide range of administrative tasks
* Excellent communication skills in interactions with families
* Excellent organisational and problem‐solving skills, interpersonal skills and written & oral communication
* Organise, prioritise and manage several tasks concurrently to meet deadlines
* Co‐ordinate, file and manage records
* Act with tact and discretion, maintaining high standards of confidentiality
* Use Microsoft Office programs, specifically Word and Excel
* Work autonomously, be self‐motivated and accountable for own work
Qualifications
* Minimum of 3 years administration experience
* Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
* Current Class C Driver's Licence
* National Criminal History check clearance
* Certificate III in Administration (desirable)
* Prior administration experience in the early education sector (desirable)
* Experience with Child Care Management System software (desirable)
