Hours: Up to 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Business Hours: Between 7:00am and 6:00pm
Pay Rate: Up to $ per hour Super (depending on experience and suitability)
APG Workforce is currently seeking an experienced Program Support Officer (AO3) for a long‐term Queensland Government contract within the Department of Transport and Main Roads, North Coast Region, based in Buderim. This opportunity is suited to a highly organised administration professional with strong communication skills and experience managing high-volume inboxes, stakeholder correspondence, and governance support activities within a busy team environment.
About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Communications Advisor (Governance and Design), you will provide professional administrative, communication, and operational support to the Stakeholder Management unit and wider regional team. This role will involve coordinating executive correspondence, supporting governance processes, maintaining records and databases, assisting with reporting activities, and contributing to community engagement support functions.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and triage a shared high-volume inbox and executive correspondence requests
* Coordinate meetings, media monitoring, filing systems, and administrative activities
* Maintain databases, spreadsheets, reports, and internal communication channels
* Support governance compliance and administrative processes
* Assist with compiling reports and stakeholder engagement records
* Coordinate printing, packaging, and distribution of communication materials
* Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and regional teams
* Assist with process improvement initiatives and support projects

* Experience managing busy shared inboxes and stakeholder communications
* Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
* Accurate data entry and database management capabilities
* Ability to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines
* Strong communication and problem‐solving skills
* Commitment to delivering high‐quality customer service
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and SharePoint
* A professional and inclusive approach to workplace interactions
Desirable Experience
* Exposure to Queensland or State Government processes and policies
* Experience supporting process improvement initiatives
