About the role
As a Catering Assistant at RSL LifeCare, every day you're empowered to make a meaningful difference to people's lives. Within our supportive work environment your compassion is valued and your professional development is prioritised. You will have the opportunity to:
- Work closely with the catering team and the Head Chef to provide high quality catering services for residents and their visitors,
- Comply with Food Safety Standards,
- Maintain a clean, efficient, and professional work setting; dishwashing and cleaning the kitchen, equipment and dining areas,
- Demonstrate a customer service mindset when interacting with residents, their families and visitors,
- Serve residents meals and snacks ensuring that the correct meals are served to residents with special dietary needs,
- Build strong and productive relationships with your team to deliver a positive dining experience.

- Your ability to work efficiently and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Qualifications in catering and hospitality or related work experience are beneficial but not essential. We can help you learn and develop in the role.

It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role. Clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare.
