As Chair, you will guide the Board's strategic direction and governance, fostering strong relationships across government, industry and community. This role demands a leader of substance, someone who brings gravitas, systems-level thinking and the ability to inspire collaboration across diverse stakeholders.
As Deputy Chair, you will play an active role in shaping CIT's strategic direction, governance and partnerships across education, industry and government. This is a leadership position suited to a board professional or senior executive who thrives on purpose, policy impact and outcomes that matter for the ACT community.
You will bring:
* Significant governance or senior executive experience, ideally within complex public, education or industry environments
* Strategic foresight, sound judgement and commitment to integrity in decision-making
* Knowledge or expertise in one or more of: vocational education and training, business and finance, governance, or social policy
* A connection to Canberra and an understanding of relevant accountability and governance arrangements for a statutory body reporting to a Minister
