Postdoctoral Research Fellow Role
The selected candidate will collaborate with our research team to design and implement initiatives that boost cervical screening rates among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women during pregnancy and postpartum.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct rigorous research and contribute to publications and grant proposals.
* Co-design culturally safe, community-led interventions, engaging with Indigenous communities, healthcare providers, and policymakers to drive real-world impact.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver project outcomes.
* Collect, analyse, and report quantitative and qualitative data to inform health policy and practice.
Requirements:
* A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in a related field such as behavioural science, public health, epidemiology, community health, Indigenous health, nursing, social science, or psychology.
* Proven experience managing research projects or community-based initiatives, preferably in Indigenous settings.
* Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of research publications and stakeholder engagement.
