BDS Mechanical is currently seeking qualified Truck/Diesel Mechanics and Fitters to join our Roma team in full-time, permanent roles. Qualifications
* Relevant trade qualification
* Diagnostic experience
* Strong fault-finding skills
* Experience with trucks and trailers
* Heavy earthmoving experience (advantageous)
* Good communication skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Truck licence (preferred)
* Additional skills, experience, tickets, and licences highly regarded
Responsibilities
* Diesel engine diagnostics & repair, major and minor rebuilds
* General repairs/maintenance works – Trucks & Trailers/4x4's
* Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems
* Checking vehicle lighting systemsTest driving vehicles to gauge performance
* Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles
* Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist
