Reporting to the Executive Services Manager, this role would suit an experienced Payroll Officer or HR professional with strong payroll capabilities who enjoys working in a hands‐on, varied position. The organisation is open to a range of working arrangements, including payroll-focused or broader HR responsibilities, making this an excellent opportunity for someone seeking flexibility. The position is available for an immediate or negotiated commencement.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
* Manage accurate and timely end‐to‐end fortnightly payroll processing, including timesheets, leave, allowances and deductions.
* Maintain payroll compliance with relevant legislation, awards and company policies across multiple sites.
* Support HR administration including onboarding, off‐boarding, employee records and HR systems management.
* Respond to staff and manager enquiries while assisting with performance management, workers compensation and return‐to‐work processes.
Selection Criteria
* Demonstrated experience processing end‐to‐end fortnightly payroll with a strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation.
* Sound knowledge of Fair Work legislation, Modern Awards and employment compliance requirements.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail, confidentiality and the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and build positive working relationships across all levels.
