We are currently seeking experienced Pathology Collectors in and around Castlemaine Area.
Key responsibilities
* Take blood and other specimens from patients, including performing ECGs, Holter and BP monitoring.
* Process pathology specimens.
* Clerical duties and process paperwork.
* Work independently and participate in the weekend roster at any collection centre.
* Communicate with the team, referring doctors and patients.
* Provide dedication to patient care and service delivery.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 1 year experience in pathology.
* Venepuncture experience with vacutainer method.
* Experience in ECGs and Holter monitoring.
* Experience in paediatric and neonatal collections.
* Basic computer skills.
* Own car and current driver's licence preferred.
* Comply with Work Health and Safety.
Additional requirements
* Current Working With Children (WWC) Check clearance upon commencement.
* Right to work in Australia.
