An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Advanced Health Worker to join the Social Work Team at the Bundaberg Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 225,000 residents including several rural communities.

Your opportunity:
- To enhance the health and well being of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within the Bundaberg Hospital through the provision of high quality, culturally appropriate services focused on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health.
Temporary Full Time (76 hours p.f.) from 5th January 2026 until 29th March 2026 with the possibility of extension
Under 25s of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld), it is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.
