About the role...
Reporting to the Executive Officer, the Executive Assistant to the CEO and Mayor provides high level executive, administrative and organisational support to two of Council's most senior leaders.
This is a diverse role requiring exceptional organisation, initiative and sound judgement. Working closely with the CEO, Mayor, Elected Members, Executive Leadership Team and external stakeholders, you will play a key role in ensuring priorities are managed effectively, commitments are coordinated and information flows smoothly across the organisation.
From managing complex diaries and correspondence through to coordinating meetings, events and stakeholder engagement activities, this role sits at the centre of Council's civic leadership functions.
What you will do...
* Manage the CEO and Mayor's diaries, appointments, correspondence and key commitments
* Coordinate meetings, agendas, minutes, reports and follow-up actions
* Organise civic functions, community events and corporate activities
* Act as a key point of contact for Elected Members, staff, government representatives and community stakeholders
* Maintain accurate records and process administrative and financial documentation
* Exercise discretion and professionalism when dealing with confidential and sensitive matters
* Provide responsive support across the Office of the Chief Executive

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and corporate systems
* A collaborative and adaptable approach with a willingness to support the broader team
