**About the role**
As Supervisor (Streetscape Maintenance) you will be part of the Streetscape team in the Works and Field Services Branch and will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of streetscaping, gardens and greening activities throughout Ipswich.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- General maintenance of Council's streetscape program
- Adhering to correct planting techniques
- Ensure continuous improvement of services
- Operate work relevant machinery
- Supervision and mentoring of staff
- Delivery of effective and efficient programs throughout the city
**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have:
- An excellent fit with our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency and leadership
- Relevant qualifications and experience in Horticulture
- Substantive knowledge of plants and trees species
- Substantive knowledge of plant care
- The ability to be resilient and agile
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Contractor management experience
This position will require a pre-employment medical (Including drug and alcohol testing)

There are two (2) Permanent positions, LGE Level 8 to Level 10, with a salary commencing at $67,250 plus superannuation of up to 12.25%.
