Your new role as the Plant Mechanic will be reporting to the Workshop Supervisor.

5 days on, 2 days off. 10.5 hrs (Inclusive of a 30 mins unpaid meal break).
What you'll do
* You will be part of a team to complete rebuilds and component change outs on Caterpillar heavy earthmoving equipment.
* You will work on a variety of equipment which includes D10 and D11 Dozers, 992 Wheel Loaders, 24M Graders and a wide range of models of Off Highway Trucks (777F – 793F).
Skills & Experience
* Heavy Vehicle or Plant Mechanic Trade Qualification
* Caterpillar product knowledge, ideally component change out experience
* Experience with Caterpillar Systems (ET, SIS, VIMS) desirable
* Dedication to a safe working environment and quality work for our customers
* Ability to work night shifts, additional hours and weekends/extra days as required to support the team
* Ability to work within a team and autonomously
