About the role
As Assistant Manager, you'll support the Venue Manager with day‐to‐day hotel operations, team leadership and shift execution.
What you'll be doing
* Lead shifts across bar, bistro, gaming, retail and function areas.
* Support team members with training, daily direction and service expectations.
* Maintain venue presentation, cleanliness and customer experience.
* Assist with rostering, stock, cash handling, compliance and shift reporting.
* Respond to customer feedback and operational issues calmly and professionally.
* Work closely with the Venue Manager to support team and venue performance.
What we're looking for
* Experience in a pub, hotel, club or similar hospitality venue.
* Confidence leading teams during busy service periods.
* Strong customer service skills and a calm, practical approach on shift.
* Comfortable working across FOH and BOH duties, including admin and operational support.
* Current RSA and RSG required; RMLV/Approved Manager and CLO highly regarded.
* Flexible availability across days, nights, weekends and public holidays.
