Trident is seeking to engage an experienced, highly motivated and effective Security Manager to lead our security team at Robina Town Centre, one of the Gold Coast's premier retail destinations.
As the Security Manager, you will be responsible for the effective operational and administrative management of our dedicated security personnel. Your primary objective will be to ensure best-practice delivery of safety, security, and customer service to our client, as well as to shoppers, retailers, and stakeholders.
This is a full-time role offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits. Roster: Mon-Fri 0800-1630
What you'll be doing:
* Report to the Integrated Services Manager on all security and safety matters
* Lead and coordinate the security team to meet service delivery and emergency response expectations
* Oversee rosters, time and attendance, and manage budgets and financial performance
* Ensure full contract compliance with client policies, procedures, and site requirements
* Maintain service quality through auditing, mentoring, onboarding, and training initiatives
* Manage staff performance, including coaching and corrective actions where required
* Coordinate ongoing training to meet evolving service standards
* Prepare and submit reports for both Trident and the client
* Build strong relationships with centre management, emergency services, and key stakeholders
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies
* Contribute to governance, continuous improvement, and strategic initiatives
* Review and enhance existing security procedures and protocols
The person we are looking for will possess:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a supervisory, managerial, or large-team leadership role within the security industry
* Strong leadership capability, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Strategic thinking ability with a proven track record of achieving results
* Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a proactive approach to security and emergency management
* A thorough understanding of current security practices, procedures, and relevant legislation
* Current QLD Security Licence, including:
o Security Officer (Unarmed)
o Crowd Control
o Monitoring
* Valid Senior First Aid Certificate with CPR
* Unrestricted working rights in Australia
* Open Class C Australian Driver's Licence
* Proficiency with security-related systems and technology
