What You'll Do
You'll be part of a team that blends strategy, creativity, and curiosity. As an SEO Specialist, you'll be the driving force behind our search campaigns – executing strategies that deliver measurable results. You'll take ownership of SEO initiatives, managing everything from strategy and technical optimisation to implementation and performance analysis.
Your Day-to-day might include
* Talking directly with clients to understand their goals and craft strategies that deliver results, without the bureaucracy of a traditional account manager.
* Executing SEO campaigns through technical work, strategies, content briefing, as well as coordinating with other specialists within StudioHawk such as content writers, offsite, PR.
* Researching keywords, competitors, and trends to uncover new growth opportunities.
* Optimising websites and crafting content strategies that align with SEO best practices.
* Presenting insights and results to clients, helping them understand the "why" behind every move.
* Working closely with your team – sharing ideas, learning, and supporting each other.
* Learning and growing every week through mentorship, workshops, our own world class learning & development program, and feedback.

Must Haves
* Located in Melbourne, Australia.
* 1–2+ years (or equivalent experience) in an SEO role.
* Hands‐on experience with SEO tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog).
* Proven experience using AI to optimise SEO processes and strategies.
* Strong and clear communication skills which you will use via emails, phone calls and during internal & external meetings.

Salary & Compensation
* Base salary: AUD $65,000 to $80,000 + superannuation (depending on experience & technical ability)
