Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and delivery of complex water infrastructure projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to work on challenging projects that have a significant impact on the community.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise in civil engineering, including geotechnical, structural, and design management skills. They will also participate in client relationship management, business development, and proposal preparation.
This role offers a variety of work opportunities, including working on different types of dams, such as embankment and concrete dams, as well as hydropower facilities. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications and experience:
* Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Civil) or higher qualifications;
* More than 3 years' post-graduation experience in dams engineering;
* Chartered RPEQ engineer status preferred or working towards this status;
* Knowledge of design of a broad range of dam types, including embankment and concrete dams;
* Knowledge of the Queensland dam safety legislation an advantage;
* Experience working in multi-disciplined teams, including geologists, structural engineers, hydraulic engineers, hydro-mechanical and electro-mechanical engineers.
