Job Description for Maintenance Engineer in Adelaide
Overview
Engineering in Mechanical or Instrumentation/Electrical.
Experience in Oil & Gas domain for Upstream/Midstream or Refinery Plant Maintenance.
Experience in Maintenance Master Data Management (Asset updates, Maint Updates, Doc Updates in SAP).
Strong knowledge of SAP PM module - Technical/Functional.
Thorough understanding of engineering documents (P&ID, Work Instructions, Data sheets, etc.) and operations of O&G operators.
Experience in Maintenance & Operations.
Reliability trained or experienced.
Understanding of SAP-based developments (CDS views, Query).
Knowledge of automated tools (LSMW or other tools).
Responsibilities
Be a focal point between customers and other remotely located teams.
Coordinate with the remote team for delivery and quality control.
Assist Maintenance activities as needed.
Provide excellence in SAP data extractions, run reports and perform user testing.
Assist the team with Maintenance data extracts and develop templates to aid automation (SAP-ready templates).
Mentor and clarify change requests received from the business.
Coordinate with site teams and work with Maintenance Planning, Reliability Engineering, Projects, Operations, and HSE.
Develop KPI and reports for senior management and projects.
Carry out allied projects concerning data improvements and data migrations.
Qualifications
Engineering degree in Mechanical or Instrumentation/Electrical.
Experience in Oil & Gas maintenance across Upstream, Midstream or Refinery environments.
Experience with Maintenance Master Data Management and SAP, including updates to assets, maintenance records, and documents.
Strong SAP PM module knowledge (technical/functional).
Thorough knowledge of engineering documents (P&IDs, work instructions, data sheets) and O&G operations.
Reliability training/experience.
Understanding of SAP developments (CDS views, queries) and familiarity with automated tools (LSMW or equivalent).
