The Hutchins School is seeking a highly skilled Community Engagement and Events Manager to lead the planning, management and continuous improvement of school events and community engagement initiatives. This role plays a key part in strengthening relationships within our school community, enhancing our reputation and supporting enrolment growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the planning, co-ordination and delivery of school and community events that strengthen engagement and support enrolment growth.
* Ensure all events comply with school procedures, policies and safety, risk and licensing requirements.
* Manage event budgets, schedules, staff, volunteers and gap staff to ensure high-quality outcomes.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with parents/carers, alumni, associations and community partners.
* Support the Parents' Association and Old Boys' Association through events, communications and engagement initiatives.
* Develop and implement communication and marketing strategies, including promotional materials, newsletters and social media.
* Manage community and alumni databases and maintain an accurate events calendar and shared resources.
* Oversee performance and outcomes related to community engagement and events.
* Ensure compliance with child safeguarding and Work Health and Safety standards.
Requirements
* Proven experience in event management, community engagement or related fields.
* Strong organisational and project management skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and relationship building abilities.
* The capacity to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes.
