An exciting opportunity to work within the City's asset
maintenance team to manage the protection of City of Wanneroo
infrastructure assets.

This role will be performed within the Preventative Engineering
Maintenance team.

About the position

Reporting to the Coordinator, this position is responsible for
undertaking a variety of critical inspections across the City's
extensive Transport and Drainage assets. A key part of this
hands-on role is identifying maintenance needs, ensuring
compliance, and managing minor works as required to maintain
service standards. We are seeking an individual who is agile,
flexible, and able to prioritise the competing demands of the role.
It can be challenging at times, with regular interruptions, but
your focus will be on maintaining services to agreed standards.

To be successful, you must be able to communicate professionally
with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, displaying
patience, tact, and diplomacy at all times. You will be accountable
for providing quality outcomes in line with the City's service
plans, applying your technical skills and judgement while working
within established policies and procedures.

About you

You must be adaptable and ready to take on a challenge. The role
would be perfectly suited to someone who is comfortable working in
a fast paced continually changing environment, has effective
communication skills, and who likes to ensure the most appropriate
outcome for the City, it's residents and rate payers within the
realm of infrastructure asset protection.

Key selection criteria include:

• Qualification in relevant discipline such as Civil
Engineering or relevant experience;

• Intermediate experience in the use of information systems
and technology;

• Intermediate computing, numeracy and literacy skills;

• National Construction Induction Certificate (White
Card);

• Drivers licence;

• A certificate in Traffic Management is desirable.
