Overview
$65 - $75 per hour + (+Super). We're seeking an experienced HVAC‐R Technician to support installation, servicing, and maintenance works. This is a residential role based in Newman, offering long‐term stability, strong team culture, and diverse work across construction, maintenance, and mining operations throughout the Pilbara.
Required Qualifications
* Cert III or IV in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
* ARCtick Licence / Refrigerant Handling Licence
* Experience in commercial, residential, and mining with strong diagnostic and fault‐finding skills
* Strong understanding and demonstration of safety procedures and SWMS
* Ability to access ALL major mining operations across the Pilbara
* Forklift licence and HR driver's licence – highly desirable
* S.26 – highly desirable, or willingness to complete
* A genuine appetite to step into leadership roles as the business grows
Role Duties
* Install, service, and maintain HVAC‐R systems
* Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
* Work professionally across client sites including residential, commercial, and mining
* Participate in a rotating on‐call roster (additional remuneration applies)
* Follow all site rules, SWMS, and company procedures
* Able to work / drive remotely individually and in pairs (satellite phone provided)
* 40 hours per week (final roster to be confirmed with supervisors)
