About the Role
ACCIONA Energía is looking for a proactive and capable Site Manager to lead day-to-day operations at our Gunning Wind Farm—home to 31 wind turbines generating up to 46.5 MW of clean energy.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will guide a close-knit team of six and oversee the performance, safety, and reliability of the site. You will have the autonomy to lead onsite operations while being fully supported by ACCIONA Energía's corporate engineering team and a network of local and global experts—giving you access to a broad range of technical knowledge and resources whenever needed.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading site operations, maintenance planning, safety, and compliance.
* Supporting and mentoring an enthusiastic team of five technicians and a site coordinator.
* Driving operational excellence and asset reliability.
* Managing budgets and reporting on performance.
* Being available to attend site outside core hours when required (e.g. emergencies or incidents).
About You
You are a collaborative leader who enjoys working closely with a team and being involved in the day-to-day running of a site. You bring:
* Experience leading or supervising teams in operational environments.
* Background in site operations, asset management, or project delivery—renewables experience is not essential. Experience in utilities, manufacturing, infrastructure, transport, logistics, or industrial settings will be highly regarded.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
* Excellent communication and team-building abilities.
* A qualification in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
