The Yorke and Northern Local Health Network (YNLHN) is hiring Personal Care Workers to join our aged care teams at Riverton and Snowtown. What You'll Do
As a Direct Care Worker (Residential), you will assist in providing high-quality, person-centred care to residents and work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager and the multi-disciplinary team. Your responsibilities include:
- Assist residents with daily living activities, supporting independence and wellbeing.
- Perform routine technical and support tasks, including setting up for nursing procedures, cleaning equipment, and managing local stock.
- Contribute to a safe, culturally inclusive environment and participate in quality improvement activities.
- Support learning and development by assisting with nursing/midwifery procedures and reporting data for evaluation and research.

Riverton – Wakefield Aged Care
- Personal Care Worker – Permanent Part-Time: 0.63 FTE (24 hours per week)
- A charming township 100 km north of Adelaide in the scenic Gilbert Valley.
- 17-bed Residential Aged Care Facility co-located at Riverton Hospital.
Snowtown – Lumeah Home
- Personal Care Worker – Permanent Part-Time: 0.32 FTE (12 hours per week)
- A peaceful, welcoming town 150 km north of Adelaide, surrounded by the Barunga Gap and Hummocks Ranges.
- 25-bed Residential Aged Care Facility co-located at Snowtown Hospital.
