Casual Senior Publishing Specialist (Law Reports) Location Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Category News & Editorial Careers Job Id JREQ191557 Job Type Part time RemoteDo you have experience in Legal Publishing and enjoy problem solving?In this Casual Senior Publishing Specialist role you will provide leadership and work direction to the Law Reports team to assist them to resolve issues and ensure all publishing deliverables are met.About the RoleIn this opportunity as Casual Senior Publishing Specialist, you will:Proactively commission headnote reporters and prepare documentation, including Publishing Agreements and content for third party vendors.Become an expert resource on various systems, software, databases, and applications for reporter onboarding and author payments.Devise and work on projects to improve the currency and profitability of law reports.Provide input to the objectives and goals for the Law Reports team.Participate in complex projects that affect Primary Law and Editorial.Train or mentor colleagues.Assist your Manager to proactively acquire source material from multiple websites (governmental and others).About YouYou're a fit for the role of Casual Senior Publishing Specialist, if you have the following required qualifications:Mid-level professional with knowledge of legal publishing processes, including commissioning.A proven record of process improvement following investigative, analytic or diagnostic services.Are quick to learn new systems in Publishing and Vendor Payments.Have attention to detail and are deadline driven.Experience in managing your own time and responsibilities.Additional preferred qualifications include:Law Degree or experience of Legal Practice.Knowledge of Thomson Reuters Legal products, both print and online.What's in it For You?Flexibility & Work-Life Balance: Flex My Way is a set of supportive workplace policies designed to help manage personal and professional responsibilities, whether caring for family, giving back to the community, or finding time to refresh and reset.
