HR Advisor
Are you a HR Advisor who wants to make a real impact where it matters most?
This is a hands‐on role, supporting leaders and teams through complex people challenges.
About the Role
We are growing our People & Culture Business Partnering team and have two newly created HR Advisor roles for those who thrive in an operational environment with purpose and impact.
This role is hands‐on, with a strong focus on managing employee relations matters and partnering closely with leaders to navigate complex people challenges, build capability, and drive better workplace outcomes.
About You
You will be a confident and capable HR professional who enjoys being close to the action, not removed from it and bring to the team:
* Demonstrated experience in employee relations and case management, ideally in complex or operational environments.
* Confidence in handling investigations and sensitive workplace matters.
* Experience supporting or exposure to unionised workforces and industrial frameworks.
* A practical, solutions‐focused approach, providing advice and solutions.
* Communication and skills, with the ability to build trust and influence leaders on‐site.
* Flexibility and willingness to travel to sites as required.
What you will be doing
* Managing a steady volume of employee relations cases including performance, misconduct, conflict, and attendance matters.
* Conducting and supporting workplace investigations and preparing clear, compliant outcomes.
* Coaching frontline leaders on people management, decision‐making and risk mitigation.
* Supporting unionised workforces, ensuring fair and consistent application of industrial frameworks.
* Facilitating conversations, mediations, and practical on‐the‐ground interventions to resolve issues and improve team dynamics.
* Building strong relationships with site leaders and providing timely, practical advice in real‐time environments.
* Working across multiple sites, with planned and balanced travel as part of a national HR team.
This is an opportunity to step into a role where you will build real capability quickly and gain exposure that goes beyond a traditional HR Advisor position. You will be supported by Senior HRBPs and a wider P&C team.
