Job Opportunity
We are looking for a mechanical engineer to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engineering and project management support, including auditing, monitoring, and improving site practice and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Auditing, monitoring, and improving site practice and standards for statutory compliance.
* Mobilizing new and used assets to site, including asset inspections, planning, coordinating defect repairs, and reviewing critical inspection reports.
* Facilitating risk assessments and implementing effective change management practices.
* Drafting and designing initiatives, upgrades, and improvements to maintenance equipment and process requirements.
* Developing and reviewing mechanical improvements on downtime and reliability issues.
* Developing outcome-driven cost-effective solutions to technical and process efficiency-based problems.
Requirements:
* A degree in mechanical engineering.
* Experience in asset management and maintenance is highly regarded.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel and Autodesk Inventor (CAD software) skills are highly regarded.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with key internal and external clients.
