Technical Salesperson - Southern NSW Territory

Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and offering technical advice to clients. You will work closely with our sales and specialist teams to ensure our clients receive the best possible solutions for their welding needs.

Responsibilities

- Expand and nurture your territory, fostering growth within the current customer base
- Collaborate with end users and distributors to identify fresh prospects
- Strategize and implement Customer Sales Plans effectively
- Conduct compelling technical presentations and demos with a focus on quality
- Offer expert technical guidance and assistance to clients
- Manage CRM activities, including emails, quotes, and calendar entries
- Foster teamwork internally to fuel collective growth initiatives

Candidate preferred

- Familiarity in the engineering and welding industry or a trade qualification in fabrication and welding, with interest in transitioning to sales
- Demonstrated expertise in welding equipment and technologies
- Preferred interest in acquiring sales and negotiation skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to convey complex technical details clearly
- Customer-centric approach with aptitude for fostering relationships
- Capable of working autonomously and collaboratively within a team
- Willingness to undertake job-related travel, including multi-day trips
- Valid driver\'s license
