About the role
A lecturer's primary role is to teach, facilitate learning and conduct assessment in traditional, new and innovative ways to a diverse range of clients. Lecturers will also be involved in the provision of consultancy, information and promotional services to industry, prospective students and community clients.
Responsibilities
Teach, facilitate learning and assess students through a mix of traditional, new and innovative methods; provide consultancy, information and promotional services to industry, prospective students and community clients; support the delivery of industry‐based Training Packages under the College's quality system.
Qualifications
Applicants must have a Certificate III in Plumbing & Gas Fitting (or equivalent). The successful applicant will also have at least 5 years of vocational or lecturing experience relevant to this position and the ability to facilitate and encourage learning. The role requires a working visa for fixed‐term contract appointments or permanent residency for permanent appointments, and it may be necessary to hold Australian or Australian equivalent qualifications (if obtained overseas, the Overseas Qualifications Unit offers a free assessment service).
