Team
Surgical and Perioperative Administrative Services at the Royal Hobart Hospital provide high level administrative and executive support to the Nurse Unit Managers, Department of Anaesthetics and the Executive Team. We have a varied team of Medical Administration, Executive Administration, NUM Support and are located across the hospital, both in patient facing and closed office spaces. We provide a varied range of work and are collaborative and supportive of each other.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated ability to organise, set priorities and meet deadlines, together with a demonstrated commitment to continuous quality improvement and the capacity to handle several tasks concurrently in a demanding environment.
* High-level written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and liaise with a wide range of internal and external clients in a sensitive and confidential manner.
* Demonstrated personal qualities such as initiative, flexibility, sound judgment and discretion along with the capacity to participate in a team environment.
Details of Appointment
Fixed term, full time/part time day worker position. Working 53.2 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until September 2026. Then will be increasing to 76 hours per fortnight from September 2026 for a period of up to ten (10) months. Hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary
$73,811 to $79,779 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
