At NAB we want customers who trust us and choose us to be their bank. We want colleagues who are customer obsessed and proud to work at NAB. Our Summer Intern Program is an 8-week paid program designed specifically to back you in this early stage of your career.
You'll be immersed in future skills and employability development workshops combined with an engaging placement in a business stream of your choice. You'll discover what it's like to learn and work at one of Australia's largest and most successful financial institutions.

We're seeking motivated and innovative individuals to join us on the 2026–2027 Summer Intern Program. You'll not only gain insights into the banking and finance industry, but you'll also learn more about your own working style with a personal action plan. You'll be provided networking opportunities and career coaching to determine what you want from your career and how to achieve it.
At the end of our program, you'll have the opportunity to apply for and potentially receive an early offer for our Graduate Program in 2028.

Group Chief Operating Office Intern Role
In this Group Chief Operating Office Intern role, you will:
* Work closely with NAB's technology teams and customer experience designers to deliver effortless digital experiences
* Gain experience in various design techniques
* Help to deliver change work
* Unlock data to provide insights and assist decision making
* Be provided with networking opportunities and an individual learning plan focussed on your future career goals
* Build employability skills to compliment your studies and current experience
* Attend structured learning and development workshops
* Be provided with daily leadership and exposure to projects and operational work

Eligibility
* Australian or New Zealand citizenship or be an Australian Permanent Resident at the time of applying.
* You'll need to be in your second-to-last year of an undergraduate or postgraduate degree and due to complete your degree by December 2027.
