About the Role
The successful applicant, as part of a multidisciplinary team, plans, implements, coordinates and evaluates Social Work services to clients in the Mental Health clinical specialty, using advanced clinical practice from a recovery-oriented and trauma-informed perspective. Leads client safety and quality of care, supervises Social Work staff, students and support staff, coordinates duties and manages performance. Ensures practice aligns with the Australian Association of Social Workers Practice Standards and Code of Ethics and SMHS policies. Provides clinical and professional expertise to ensure comprehensive evidence-based care delivered to patients within the 24/7 Mental Health Crisis Centre (MHCC).
