Woods & Co has partnered with a leading Mulgrave-based construction, maintenance and refurbishment business that has cemented itself as a trusted name across Victoria. Working across defence housing, council and government contracts, commercial fit-outs, aged care, education and retail, our client has effectively doubled their headcount in the last 2–3 years and continues to grow off the back of major project wins.
You'll take full ownership of the business's flagship Makesafe contract, leading the team, resourcing the jobs, managing the numbers, and being the trusted first point of call for client allocations. This is a long‐runway role where you'll shape how a critical part of the business operates.

What you'll do?
* Leading a high‐performing team of site supervisors and field technicians
* Receiving, allocating and prioritising Makesafe jobs to hit KPI attendance windows
* Quoting, scoping, programming and managing variations end‐to‐end
* Owning financial performance: budgets, productivity, profitability and forecasting
* Building and managing client relationships, with input into new business development
* Driving compliance, quality and OHS across every job and handover
* Partnering with the Directors on strategy, systems and continuous improvement
What you need?
* 5+ years proven experience as a Project Manager in construction, maintenance or facilities
* Qualification in Engineering, Building, Construction Management or similar
* Strong track record leading trade teams and delivering against tight KPIs
* Confident across budgeting, cost management, programming and reporting
* Sound knowledge of building codes, OHS and contractual/legislative compliance
* Comfortable juggling reactive work with longer‐term planning, calm under pressure
* A natural leader and relationship‐builder who clients and trades both respect
