Job Description About the Role:We are seeking a Business Development Manager (Lubricants) to expand the Lubricant portfolio within NSW & VIC and achieve new business by building key customer relationships and identifying business opportunities.
The role carries the responsibility of driving growth through the depots and sales team by supporting and coaching and will be measured through sales, financial performance, Health & Safety compliance, and operational excellence.Based in: Newcastle or MelbourneResponsibilities:Work closely with the Lubricants Business Manager to develop and execute comprehensive account plans in collaboration with the sales teams setting clear objectives and growth strategies aligned with company goalsAchieve financial targets for Key Accounts, including Volume, Turnover and Gross MarginIdentify and capitalize upselling and cross-selling opportunities within the portfolio.Coach Sales Managers and share best practices and market insights to enhance their capabilities.
This includes supporting Sales Managers with technical queries.Conduct customer business reviews in conjunction with the Sales Managersto communicate and demonstrate value delivery, reinforcing relationshipsDevelop a pipeline within CRM, sharing insights, market knowledge, and experience.Cultivate and nurture long-term partnerships with key clients in the lubricants sector to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.Address and resolve client issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.Support and participate in field days within the Region.Essential Skills and Experience:5+ years' of B2B sales management experience in a similar hands-on roleExperience within the lubricant market is a requirementStrong understanding of Commercial and Automotive sectorsDemonstrated capability in achieving sales targets and growthAdvanced negotiation and influencing skills, with experience in building and nurturing constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively both in a team environment and as a self-starterCapacity for informed decision making and problem solving.Proven communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suiteUnderstanding of thefuel industry, market dynamics, and regulatory standards is advantageous.Lowes Petroleum actively promotes diversity in our workplace and the fuel industry therefore we strongly encourage all interested parties to apply.We reserve the right to close applications earlier than the nominated date.
