About the Role
Reporting to the A Shift Electrical Supervisor North Yard, you will be responsible for the development, execution and closeout of improvement projects on electrical fixed plant equipment, processes and documentation.
Your duties will include:
* Contributing to our safety and continuous improvement culture, BHP Operating Systems (BOS), by demonstrating a commitment to high standards of execution within your trade.
* Maintain a high-level working knowledge of safety processes.
* Inspection, servicing, adjustment, troubleshooting and repair of all plant and infrastructure equipment.
* Have a sound understanding of maintenance management standards.
* Work effectively with other maintenance and production team members, including contractors.
* Proficiency with computer-based planning systems, ideally 1SAP & Fiori.
* Ensure that all documentation and data entry is accurately completed.
* Ensure adequate application of corrective work to facilitate the Planning Process.
* Monitoring of asset integrity and compliance to statutory maintenance & inspection requirements.
About You
To be suitable for this role, you will have the following skills and experience:
* Australia recognized Electrical Licence.
* Well-developed understanding of the operation and maintenance of Fixed Plant equipment.
* Experience working in Iron Ore Processing Plant is highly desirable.
* Ability to work well within a team to achieve outcomes.
* Motivated who can work with minimal supervision.
* Be dedicated to Continuous Improvements.
