Salary: $76,550 - $90,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation

The company provides innovative and reliable technology services with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, technical support, and digital transformation solutions.
We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled ICT Help Desk Officer to join our growing technical support team. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for providing high-quality IT support services to clients and internal users.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to hardware, software, systems, and network issues while ensuring prompt resolution of technical problems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide first-level technical support to clients and internal staff via phone, email, and remote support tools
* Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, system, and network-related issues
* Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software applications, and peripheral devices
* Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff when required
* Maintain accurate records of support requests, troubleshooting activities, and system updates
* Assist with user account management, password resets, and access permissions
* Support website, application, and system maintenance activities where required
* Monitor system performance and identify potential technical issues proactively
* Assist in maintaining IT security standards, backups, and software updates
* Provide guidance and training to users on basic IT systems and applications
* Ensure all support tasks are completed within agreed service timeframes
* Collaborate with internal teams to support ongoing technology projects and improvements
* Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach when handling support requests
Qualifications:
• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, ICT, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 1 year of relevant ICT support or help desk experience
Skills and Other Requirements:
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, networking, and basic server administration
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work independently and within a team environment
* Strong time management and organisational skills
* Customer service-focused attitude with the ability to work under pressure
